November. The days are getting darker, the nights longer. It’s definitely comfort food time – and here’s what to eat in November.
In the U.K., we have bonfire night on the 5th November, and the USA celebrates thanksgiving in November too. Diwali is often celebrated in November. In fact, as the days get shorter, the celebrations get more prominent!
I spend longer in the kitchen during the ‘ber’ months (September, October, November, December). I like to counter the encroaching darkness with the flame on my hob, the warmth from my oven.
