Mango smoothie is a delicious, sweet and refreshing drink that’s perfect for breakfast (or any time of the day, really!).
This particular mango smoothie is made with just 3 ingredients, plus water. I use frozen mango to make the recipe even more convenient- you can make it any time of year, whether mango is in season or not:
It takes just 5 minutes to make – perfect for busy mornings when you need something quick.
You can top with some fresh mint if you have it, but it’s completely optional.

Ingredients, Substitutions and Variations
- Frozen mango – you CAN use fresh mango, but frozen mango has a number of benefits. There’s zero prep time – you don’t have to peel and chop. Plus, the frozen mango chills the smoothie, so it’s the perfect temperature when you come to drink it.
- Porridge oats – any cheap porridge oats will work. A small handful is all you need to thicken the smoothie and add fibre.
- Greek yoghurt – a spoonful of Greek yoghurt adds creaminess and a touch of sharpness to that sweet mango.

Top Tips
- Balancing sweetness Check how sweet your smoothie is when it’s ready. If it is not sweet enough for your liking, add 1/2 tsp honey.
- Equipment You will need a smoothie maker for this recipe, or you can use a hand held stick blender and a jug (just be careful that the smoothie doesn’t go everywhere!)
- Get ahead You can make this smoothie the night before you want to drink it. Just cover it and put it in the fridge overnight. You’ll need to give it a good shake in the morning before you drink it.

Easy Mango Smoothie (3 Ingredients!)

A quick and easy mango smoothie, ready in 5 minutes with just 3 ingredients (plus water!)
Ingredients
- 25 g porridge oats
- 100 g frozen mango
- 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 250 ml water
Instructions
- Put the yoghurt, oats and mango in the smoothie maker jug. Pour over the water.
- Blitz with the smoothie maker for 30 seconds. Stop, stir the smoothie, then blitz again for another 30 seconds. Repeat once more.
- Check that the smoothie is smooth – if it is still grainy, you can blitz again.
