One Pan Smoked Sausage Fried Rice

An easy and delicious smoked sausage recipe for dinner with egg fried rice
A delicious egg fried rice recipe with smoked sausage, peas and red pepper. Ready in 15 minutes and all made in one pan.

Ingredients

  • 270 grams smoked sausage
  • 500 grams cooked rice
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 200 grams frozen peas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce

Instructions

  • Cut the sausages into slices approximately 0.5cm thick. Add to a large non stick pan and put on a medium heat. Fry for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden.
  • Add the rice and fry for another minute before adding the peas and finely chopped bell pepper.
  • Cook for two minutes, until the peas are defrosted, then use your wooden spoon to move the food aside create a gap in the pan. Crack your eggs into this gap and stir with your spoon.
  • Gradually move the egg around as it cooks, breaking it into small pieces, until it has all solidified.
  • Add the soy sauce. Cook for another minute before, then serve.
