Classic French toast with smoked paprika, garlic, avocado and spring onion to bring flavour to your breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 10 grams grated cheese
  • ½ avocado
  • 3 spring onions
  • ½ tablespoon sweet chilli sauce

Instructions

  • Crack your eggs into a large bowl. Add the smoked paprika and garlic powder and beat well. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Put the slices of bread into the egg mix and let them soak it up, then turn over and do the same on the other side.
  • Put the oil in a non stick frying pan over a medium heat. Add the slices of eggy bread. Top each one with the grated cheese.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden, then carefully flip so that the cheese stays connected. Cook for another 2-3 minutes then remove from the pan. Place on a plate, cheese side up.
  • Slice the avocado and spring onions. Put the avocado on top and sprinkle over the spring onions. Drizzle over the sweet chilli sauce. Done!
