Cherry, Ginger and Yoghurt Waffle Topping

A fantastic simple cherry, ginger and yoghurt waffle topping, ready in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 waffles
  • 80 grams frozen cherries
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons greek yoghurt

Instructions

  • Put the cherries in a microwaveable dish and cook on a high heat for 1 minute 30 seconds. Stir, then cook for another 30 seconds on high.
  • Put the waffles in the toaster for two minutes until warm and crisp (unless you’re making your own waffles, of course!)
  • Stir the ginger into the cherries.
  • To compile, put the waffles on a plate. Top with the yoghurt, then spoon the cherries over the top. Enjoy!
