Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and cook the cocktail sausages for 20 minutes, until crisp and golden.
Meanwhile, bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and cook the spaghetti according to packet instructions.
In a saute pan, melt the butter over a medium heat and add the chopped onion. Cook for 3 minutes, then add the cooked sausages and cranberries. Add the apple sauce and 50ml water, stir and simmer until the apple sauce has dissolved. Season with salt and pepper.
When the spaghetti is cooked, drain and stir in the sauce. Serve topped with plenty of grated parmesan.
