Savoury Bakes and Pies

There’s just something magical about pie night, isn’t there? A golden crust (pastry, potato or otherwise), a hearty filling and that wonderful moment when everyone goes quiet because they’re too busy tucking in. For me, savoury bakes are the ultimate comfort food – the sort of thing you bring to the table when you want warmth, cosiness and maybe a little smugness that you’ve managed to get dinner and happiness wrapped up in pastry.
